Touch + Release: The Touch Effect

Are you comfortable with Touch? Join us for our very first intensive training

Led by  Jessica Ecclestone (E-RYT200 and RMT-3000)

Sunday March 25th, 8:00am - 6:00pm

In this 1-day continuing education program students will learn how to apply both physical and non physical adjustment techniques for both group and private yoga sessions.

The program is focused on increasing your confidence in providing safe, effective, and awareness-oriented hands on adjusting techniques, and will include exploration of alignment, non-contact adjusting, and technical adjusts. 

6 Areas of Study:

1. Exploring Alignment –  Develop and enhance your awareness of alignment, Seeing into each posture and each individual

2. Non-Contact Adjusting – Cultivate and refine cuing 

3. Influential Class Flow – Cultivating Feel, Awareness, Responsiveness, Music 

4. Hands-On Adjustments – Learn and practice simple touch to encourage awareness and activation

5. Appropriate use of props and modifications  – Learn how to use bolsters, straps & blocks to benefit postures. 

6. Applying and using essential oils  – Learn about essential oil benefits and how to properly use. Guest Speaker Chelsea (Sage Wellness Community Manager)

Open to: yoga teachers from all backgrounds and styles (minimum 200-hour certification)

This training qualifies for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits

Optional Add-on - Mentorship Program

$125+GST includes:

6 hours of hands-on experience in a public class setting

3 hours of one-on-one coaching customized to help you develop tangible adjusting skills
